ABOUT US
The Mid-Arizona Shetland Sheepdog Club Inc. Rescue is under the direction of the Mid-Arizona Shetland Sheepdog Club which is a 501©3 non-profit organization made up of volunteers who serve the Phoenix metropolitan area in respect to the rescue of Shetland Sheepdogs. The club and rescue both are comprised of volunteers dedicated to the preservation, intervention and care of all purebred Shetland Sheepdogs (Shelties) of any age or sex.

Sheltie rescue's goal is to take in abandoned, lost, and unwanted Shelties in an attempt to find them a new, loving home. Rescues are fostered in loving homes, so each dog can be evaluated and the most appropriate permanent placement made. Rescue provides the care, overseeing placement, problem intervention service and love of a dog until it finds a "forever" home. All rescue dogs are vet-checked, vaccinated, and spayed or neutered. The goal is to place the right dog in the right home regardless of the time it takes, with a nominal adoption fee being charged for each adoption.
