ABOUT US
The Mid-Arizona Shetland Sheepdog Club Inc. Rescue is under the direction of the Mid-Arizona Sheltand Sheepdog Club which is a 501©3 non-profit organization made up of volunteers who serve the Phoenix metropolitan area in respect to the rescue of Shetland Sheepdogs. The club and rescue both are comprised of volunteers dedicated to the preservation, intervention and care of all purebred Shetland Sheepdogs (Shelties) of any age or sex.

Sheltie rescue's goal is to take in abandoned, lost, and unwanted Shelties in an attempt to find them a new, loving home. Rescues are fostered in loving homes, so each dog can be evaluated and the most appropriate permanent placement made. Rescue provides the care, overseeing placement, problem intervention service and love of a dog until it finds a "forever" home. All rescue dogs are vet-checked, vaccinated, and spayed or neutered. The goal is to place the right dog in the right home regardless of the time it takes, with a nominal adoption fee being charged for each adoption.

The Rescue Hot line:
We are staffed by volunteers with most of the members work during the day. Fastest way to reach any one of the assistance is to send us an email at: masscr@earthlink.net where several volunteers monitor all hours of the day/evening. Someone will get back to you as soon as possible. If you need to contact by phone you can call any one of the number listed, however please extend the courtesy of remembering that it rings in a private home. Make your calls between the hours of 8AM and 9PM, unless it is an emergency.
